cupcakes!
As you may know we just recently moved to Vegas. I haven't been able to explore much because I'm getting ready for the AVAM show in Baltimore.
Tonight we got dessert from this little shop called The Cupcakery. Oh my! they make a mean cupcake! Mocha, strawberry shortcake, kir royale (my favorite drink) double chocolate, lemon berry. Plus they sell cute retro style aprons and very cold chocolate milk. Awesome!

Happy Birthday Babycakes :)
Today is Courtney's b-day. She and Colin moved to Philly a few months ago and we miss them so much. I still haven't been able to visit and see the new place. Last year was fun........Courtney drank the biggest margarita I have ever seen. I can't be there this time.......but I'm thinking about them and just picturing carefully placed Colin flowers covering her shoes.
I hope she has the best birthday ever!

getting ready
I'm getting ready for a couple of upcoming shows. One at Seacrets in Ocean City, MD on the 24th of April. I'm going to bring along mainly my patricia-fish for this show. Some frames and small tables.
The Bethany Beach boardwalk show is on June 7th. I plan on having lots of painted furniture as well as fish and smaller items. I've been going over images of the furniture that I've painted both recently and from years ago. I would love to know what everyone thinks. Please leave me your comments!

Tile mosaic jobby
I recieved a call from a non profit organization I did a job for back in 2002.
It was a large wall mural done in tiles with a mosaic center piece.
They sold each tile as a fundraiser. The director is leaving and as a parting gift the board of directors wants to present her with a wall hanging of the center section. I'm working on it now.
